The VIV imprint, (a.k.a. 5-1-5), brings together stories rooted in Hispaniola and Puerto Rico, tracing characters who navigate technology, ancestral spirituality, and political intrigue across past and future timelines.  Launching with Viv Ayiti, an epic set in 2106, this imprint honors the legacy of the first independent state in the region and explores liberty, humanity, and justice through afro-futurism.

Jumbie Tales is the only Lime Life imprint set in the present day, telling self-contained stories rooted in Caribbean folklore and speculative fiction. Each story is presented as a limited series that draws readers into the myths and memories woven into everyday life. The darker narratives of this imprint of Lime Life Comics interrogate what haunts us, both in the visible world and in the shadows.

Lime Life Comics channels the Caribbean’s rich storytelling traditions into the medium of comic books and graphic narratives.  Our comics are driven by artists and writers from across the region and diaspora working together to reimagine history, celebrate folklore, and explore bold new futures.  From speculative sci-fi to historical epics, each title offers a fresh twist, rooted in radical Caribbean imagination.

Unlike Viv Ayiti titles, which explore Caribbean life less than a century ahead, or Jumbie Tales, which reimagine folklore and spiritual traditions in the present day, Pulp Fictions ventures lifetimes beyond our own horizon.  Its stories project the Caribbean and Caribbean people into far futures, where nations, cultures, and myths evolve into new forms of survival and expression.
